Baseball Recap: Dunmore's Undefeated Season over After Eight Games

Dunmore lost against Mid Valley back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bucks fell 4-1 to the Spartans. The game marked the Bucks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Dunmore saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Forgione, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. Forgione is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Having lost for the first time this season, Dunmore fell to 7-1. As for Mid Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dunmore will take on Elk Lake at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bucks 1.6, the Warriors 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Mid Valley, they will welcome Western Wayne at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
