Soccer Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison and Dirigo pushed the score to 9-0 the last time they played Dirigo, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. Madison were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Dirigo apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Madison now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Dirigo, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

Coming up, Madison will take on Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dirigo, they will challenge Pine Tree Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
