On Friday, The Ridge View Blazers''s game was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They put the hurt on Richland Northeast with a sharp 42-21 win. The result was nothing new for Ridge View, who have now won six contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Ridge View was led to victory by Siah Mack and Breylon Boyd. Mack rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, while Boyd rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns.
The victory makes it two in a row for Ridge View and bumps their season record up to 7-2. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31 points. As for Richland Northeast, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4.
Ridge View will take on A.C. Flora at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. A.C. Flora is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Richland Northeast, they will head out on the road to face off against Westwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Westwood comes in on a streak of failing to score more than six points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
