Pleasant Grove waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Franklin Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Franklin lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Sean An, who had nine digs and three aces.

Pleasant Grove's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7. As for Franklin, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-20.

Coming up, Pleasant Grove will venture away from home to challenge Laguna Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
