Soccer Game Preview: Kent Denver vs. Delta

The Kent Denver Sun Devils will take on the Delta Panthers on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Kent Denver is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand Alamosa a 10-0 shutout. The result kept Kent Denver happy, as they haven't lost a game since March 18th.

Their offense was hitting Alamosa from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Campbell Tierney led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Delta had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Eagles as they made off with a 5-0 win. Delta's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Delta's victory bumped their record up to 12-3-2. As for Kent Denver, their win bumped their record up to 14-2-1.
