Baseball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Elkmont Red Devils.

Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Elkmont, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Cleveland wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 5-1 defeat against Pennington on the 22nd. As for Elkmont, they will venture away from home to take on West Limestone at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
