Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Baldwin

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Baldwin had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Elmont Memorial Spartans 47-44. The 47-point effort marked the Bruins' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The win (which was Baldwin's fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-1. As for Elmont Memorial, they moved to 4-1 with that defeat, which also ended their 15-game winning streak.

Baldwin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 75-56 victory against Amityville Memorial on the 11th. Elmont Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
