The Karns City Gremlins will venture away from home to challenge the Knoch Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Karns City took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They came out on top against Redbank Valley by a score of 4-1. The Gremlins haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Addison Burrows spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Ronni Radaker was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March.
Meanwhile, Knoch had already won 15 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it 16 on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Bucs. That's two games straight that the Knights have won by exactly ten runs.
Emersyn Jones made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Jones was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with one home run and five RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on McKenna Brailey, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three RBI. Another player making a difference was Lizzie Danik, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two RBI.
Knoch hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in four consecutive contests.
Karns City's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Knoch, their record now sits at 17-1.
Karns City's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's game. The Gremlins have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.3 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Knoch, though, as they've been averaging only 0.8 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Karns City continue to outrun the ball?
Karns City couldn't quite get it done against Knoch when the teams last played back in May of 2023 as they fell 5-2. Can the Gremlins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
