After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Buffalo, Elkhart was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Groesbeck Goats by a score of 9-4. This was a revenge game for the Elks: when they faced off against the Goats on March 3rd, they had to take a 4-2 loss.
Rylee Lohmeyer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Lohmeyer was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
