Rochester won the last time they faced Troy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Falcons skirted past the Colts 6-4.

Maddiey May spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 12 Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Taylor Parsons, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Emily Hartmann, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

Rochester now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rochester will host Oxford at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Troy, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Avondale at 4:30 p.m. This will be the Colts' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
