Soccer Recap: Maranatha Christian Takes a Loss

Maranatha Christian lost against Orange Glen back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Maranatha Christian Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Orange Glen Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 759th, while the Patriots are ranked 105th).

This is the second loss in a row for Maranatha Christian and nudges their season record down to 8-10. As for Orange Glen, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Maranatha Christian has already played their next game (against Bishop's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Orange Glen, they have already played their next contest, a 4-2 defeat against Escondido Charter on the 13th.
