Midd-West has gone 8-2 against Montoursville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Mustangs will face off against the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Midd-West took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Warrior Run. Given Midd-West's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Warrior Run are ranked 180th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Montoursville kept a clean sheet against Wellsboro on Saturday. They came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 2-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Montoursville were the better team in the second half.

Quinn Winslow was the driving force of Montoursville's attack as he scored both of Montoursville's goals, bringing his season total up to 11 goals.

Midd-West has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2-1 record this season. As for Montoursville, their victory bumped their record up to 14-0-3.

Midd-West was able to grind out a solid win over Montoursville when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
