Softball Recap: Gowanda Panthers vs. Forestville Central Hornets

Gowanda lost to Forestville Central last Monday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Panthers came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 7-3.

Addison Kota made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run and three runs.

In other batting news, Holland Browning was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in May of 2024. Sophia Bobseine was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
