Basketball Recap: Rough Rock Takes a Loss

Rough Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were dealt a 58-8 defeat at the hands of the St. Michael Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sun Devils of the 56-23 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2017.

Rough Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for St. Michael, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-12.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing BASIS Flagstaff the next time they take the court. St. Michael will head out to face BASIS Flagstaff at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while Rough Rock will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
