Richfield entered their tilt with Mound-Westonka on Tuesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with an 83-71 victory over the Mound-Westonka White Hawks. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Richfield has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 87.9 points per game. As for Mound-Westonka, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richfield has already played their next match (against Fridley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mound-Westonka will challenge Southwest Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
