Basketball Game Preview: Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves vs. Pine Ridge Thorpes

Having just played yesterday, the Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves will jump right back in to play the Pine Ridge Thorpes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cheyenne-Eagle Butte is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Cheyenne-Eagle Butte saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came out on top against Rapid City Christian by a score of 58-48.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pine Ridge). They claimed a resounding 71-39 victory over Dupree.

Cheyenne-Eagle Butte's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Pine Ridge, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Cheyenne-Eagle Butte was dealt a bruising 67-29 defeat at the hands of Pine Ridge in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can the Braves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
