Quincy's leading hitter did his thing again on Tuesday. Jake Thackeray was dialed in as he went 4-for-5 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Portola back in March of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Quincy is 5-1 when Thackeray posts two or more runs, but 5-6 otherwise.

Coming up, Thackeray and Quincy will face off against Maxwell at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long.
