It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Sapulpa Chieftains can now relate to. They took a 48-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians on Saturday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Sapulpa has scored all season.

Several Chieftains players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Riki Mcquarters, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and seven steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Bilby, who scored 15 points.

Sapulpa struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as El Reno racked up 11 assists.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead El Reno to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nazhoni Sleeper, who scored 12 points along with five assists and two steals. Another player making a difference was Pauline Black-harmon, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.

Sapulpa's defeat dropped their record down to 23-7. As for El Reno, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 28-0.

Sapulpa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. El Reno also has no future games currently scheduled.
