Moffat County's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Rifle Bears by a score of 3-1. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Bears walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Moffat County was actually outscored in aggregate across those four sets (89-88), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 10-25, 27-25, 25-15.

Sofia Vanzo paced Moffat County's offense, picking up five kills. Vanzo got some help from Adrian Profumo and her ten assists. Vanzo was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

When it comes to explaining why Rifle lost, don't look at Paisley Goin. Despite the final result, she had 42 digs. Goin has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more digs the last three times she's played. Liliana Ruiz Magana was another key player, getting 15 digs.

Moffat County's record now sits at 4-9. As for Rifle, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Moffat County has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Cedaredge on the 25th. As for Rifle, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Steamboat Springs on the 25th.
