Softball Recap: Annenberg Comes Up Short on the Road Against Smidt Tech

Annenberg kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 18-3 to the Smidt Tech Grey Wolves. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

The victory got Smidt Tech back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Annenberg will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus at 2:00 p.m. on March 17th. As for Smidt Tech, they will be playing at home against Triumph Charter at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Triumph Charter has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11 runs per game on average), something Smidt Tech will no doubt try to take advantage of.
