Volleyball Recap: Ygnacio Valley Takes a Loss

Ygnacio Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Benicia Panthers. The Wolves were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

While Ygnacio Valley ultimately came up short, they really made Benicia work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-11, 27-25, 16-25, 25-15.

Ygnacio Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Benicia, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.

Ygnacio Valley has already played their next game (against Miramonte), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Benicia, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Pittsburg on the 21st.
