Volleyball Recap: Waltham Hawks vs. Acton-Boxborough Colonials
After flying high against Watertown last Tuesday, Waltham came back down to earth. The Waltham Hawks came up short against the Acton-Boxborough Colonials on Monday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Waltham will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Weston at 5:30 p.m. The last three games Weston has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Acton-Boxborough, they will head out to take on Newton South at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Newton South will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Acton-Boxborough surely won't give up without a fight.
