Volleyball Recap: Creekside Christian Academy Falls Despite Big Games from Katelynn Rossiter and Mabrie Chapman

Creekside Christian Academy was the 2-1 winner over Strong Rock Christian when they last played one another back in August of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mabrie Chapman and Katelynn Rossiter certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Chapman had 17 digs and one assist, while Rossiter had 26 assists. Ashley Yefermov also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Creekside Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Strong Rock Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Creekside Christian Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Valwood at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Strong Rock Christian, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Eagle's Landing on the 12th.
