Softball Preview: County Line Indians vs. Westside Rebels

The County Line Indians are taking a road trip to challenge the Westside Rebels at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

County Line can't be too happy about their upcoming road matchup considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Tuesday. They fell just short of Ozark by a score of 14-13. The Indians have struggled against the Hillbillies recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Tavilynn Fortenberry was cooking despite her team's loss, going 4-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Reames, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Westside hadn't done well against Hackett recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Rebels came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 5-2.
