Football Game Preview: Victor Blue Devils vs. Brighton Bruins

The Victor Blue Devils will head out on the road to square off against the Brighton Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Victor will be strutting in after a victory while Brighton will be coming in after a loss.

Victor is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 36-13 margin over Spencerport on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 35 points the game before, Brighton was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 22-0 to Hilton. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Bruins were not able to get on the board.

The victory made it two in a row for Victor and bumps their season record up to 3-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.0 points over those games. As for Brighton, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Things could have been worse for Victor, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 14-0 loss to Brighton in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Blue Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
