Lutheran South Academy waltzed into their match on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They put the hurt on the Bay Area Christian Broncos with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pioneers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Lutheran South Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15, 25-18.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lutheran South Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Charlie Marsico, who had 18 digs and four assists. With that strong performance, Marsico is now averaging an impressive 10.2 digs per game. Eli Wittman was another key player, getting six digs and three aces.

Despite the defeat, Bay Area Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Addison Wilson had 35 digs and two aces. Wilson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 25 games she's played.

Lutheran South Academy's victory bumped their record up to 23-6. As for Bay Area Christian, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-16-1.

Lutheran South Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Emery/Weiner on the 9th. As for Bay Area Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Second Baptist on the 9th.
