Flag Football Game Preview: Whitney Wildcats vs. Granite Bay Grizzlies

Whitney hasn't had much luck against Granite Bay recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Wildcats will welcome the Grizzlies at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Whitney 9.3, Granite Bay 7.4) so any points scored will be well earned.

On Tuesday, Whitney strolled past Del Oro with points to spare, taking the game 25-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Whitney found their leader in sophomore Lulu Im, who threw for 195 yards and four TDs.

Meanwhile, Granite Bay hadn't done well against Oak Ridge recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Grizzlies narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Trojans 14-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Grizzlies have posted since October 29, 2024.

Granite Bay's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Whitney, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.
