Softball Recap: Absegami Extends Winning Streak to Three

Absegami strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let the Buena Chiefs get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory. This was payback for the Braves, who suffered a 4-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Kali Jorgensen, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Yaceana Scriven, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Absegami's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Buena, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Absegami will square off against Atlantic County Institute of Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Buena, they will face off against Cumberland Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
