Joseph Lewis of Hawkins (Los Angeles) announced his college commitment live with MaxPreps on Wednesday, opting to take his talents to nearby USC.

The 6-foot-1, 204-pound playmaker is pegged as the fourth-rated receiver and No. 31 overall recruit by 247Sports. He chose the Trojans over Nebraska and Oregon.

Lewis caught 21 passes for 555 yards and seven touchdowns in just seven games this season. He also posted 61 tackles, two sacks and two interceptions on defense in helping the 13-1 Hawks to the Los Angeles City Section Division II title game.
