Baseball Recap: Blazer Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Blazer's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Boyd County Lions on Thursday. The Tomcats haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Blazer's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Boyd County, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blazer will head out to challenge Montgomery County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Boyd County, they will venture away from home to square off against Prestonsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions are facing the Blackcats at the right time seeing as the Blackcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
