Franklin's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to King Soloman Hamilton

King Soloman Hamilton helped snap Franklin's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season. On Thursday Soloman Hamilton threw for 222 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Franklin's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Soloman Hamilton and Franklin will face off against Roosevelt on Friday.

Cleveland had to settle for second on Thursday, but Sam Ribner sure wasn't going down easily. Ribner turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 90 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, while also throwing for 190 yards and two touchdowns.

Cleveland is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. Ribner and Cleveland will venture away from home to face off against Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Cash Landau Turns in Season-Best Effort

Cash Landau produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Franklin to the win on Thursday. Landau picked up 108 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Unfortunately for Cleveland, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Landau. When Landau last faced the Warriors back in September of 2023, he picked up 206 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Big Game from Sayre As Franklin Won 47-28

Jay Sayre helped snap Franklin's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season. Sayre turned in nothing short of a gem on Thursday, rushing for 119 yards on only 15 carries.

On the year, Sayre has averaged 92.2 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 30.83 rushing yards per game.

Hank Blaha Makes It Two for Cleveland
