Baseball Game Preview: Delta Charter Storm vs. Ferriday Trojans

The Delta Charter Storm will square off against the Ferriday Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Delta Charter didn't have quite enough to beat Slaughter Community Charter and fell 9-8. The Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gunner Smith and Lucas Mullins did some serious damage despite the final result: Smith scored a run and stole Three bases. while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances, while Mullins scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave Smith a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Ferriday's offense. They came up short against Delta Charter last Friday, falling 20-0.

Ferriday's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Delta Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Everything went Delta Charter's way against Ferriday in their previous meeting last Friday, as Delta Charter made off with a 20-0 win. Does Delta Charter have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ferriday turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
