Walkertown won the last time they faced McMichael, and things went their way on Friday too. The Walkertown Wolfpack claimed a resounding 38-6 victory over the McMichael Phoenix. That 32 point margin sets a new team best for the Wolfpack this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Walkertown to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cam Kelly, who rushed for 79 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 104 receiving yards and a touchdown. Kelly continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Mitrend Curry did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 169 receiving yards.

Walkertown didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jasna Perry, Tre'Vene Gilliam, and Curry picked up one apiece. Walkertown got some further help from Camereon Cartlidge: he picked up two sacks and made seven total tackles.

Walkertown's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. As for McMichael, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
