Picayune blew Bay out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Bay got their revenge. The Maroon Tide fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 62-59. On the bright side, the 59- point effort marked the Maroon Tide's highest-scoring game to date.

Anthony Robinson was his usual excellent self, putting up 35 points for Bay. Robinson is becoming a predictor of the Tigers' success: when he posts at least 25 points the team is 2-1 (and 0-3 when he doesn't).

Picayune dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bay, they moved to 2-4 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Picayune will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sumrall at 7:30 p.m. on December 5. As for Bay, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 53-42 victory against Maclay on the 24th.
