Softball Recap: Overbrook Victorious

After losing to Freire Charter the last time they met, Overbrook decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Panthers came out on top against the Dragons by a score of 10-5 on Wednesday.

Nashae Bouie was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Lynn Davis, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

The win got Overbrook back to even at 1-1. As for Freire Charter, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Overbrook will face off against Samuel Fels at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Freire Charter, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Olney at 3:15 p.m. on the 20th.
