Soccer Recap: Riverbend Takes a Loss

Riverbend's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the North Stafford Wolverines by a score of 1-0. Riverbend haven't had much luck with North Stafford recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Riverbend's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-2. As for North Stafford, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 2-1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverbend will venture away from home to square off against Colonial Forge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Stafford, they will head out to face off against Brentsville District at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
