It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Trinity Christian had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won seven matches in a row.

Trinity Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Holy Innocents Episcopal between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19, 25-20.

Adeline Earley paced Trinity Christian's offense, picking up 17 kills. Earley got some help from Lexie Starcher and her 18 assists. Earley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Holy Innocents Episcopal's loss came despite strong showings from Amara Donnelly and Claire Hobbs. Donnelly had 13 assists and four digs, while Hobbs had ten digs and two assists. Hobbs has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Trinity Christian's victory bumped their record up to 28-9. As for Holy Innocents Episcopal, their loss dropped their record down to 19-18.

Looking ahead, Trinity Christian will take on Hebron Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Holy Innocents Episcopal does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
