Soccer Recap: Lyman Takes a Loss

Lyman and Winter Springs squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lyman had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Winter Springs Bears by a score of 1-0. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 two weeks ago.

Lyman has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6-5 record this season. As for Winter Springs, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-3-1.

Lyman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Winter Springs, they will square off against Oviedo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oviedo's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
