Volleyball Recap: South Granville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

South Granville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wake Prep Academy Guardians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 11-25, 25-22.

Tatiana Bates paced South Granville's offense, picking up seven kills. Bates were helped by Larah Preddy and Tatum Currin, who contributed eight assists each. Katelyn Haag controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

South Granville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Wake Prep Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, South Granville will square off against Vance Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wake Prep Academy, they will face off against Fike at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
