While Arapahoe's win against Grand Junction wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Tigers 2-1. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Riley Brayton paced Arapahoe's offense, picking up eight kills. Brayton got some help from Addie Loughner and her 24 assists.

Arapahoe's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Grand Junction, they moved to 6-10 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Tigers beat Arapahoe by a score of 3-2 on Saturday.
