Basketball Recap: Peebles Takes a Loss

Peebles was the 51-49 winner over Manchester when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Peebles Indians were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 54-53 to the Manchester Greyhounds. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Peebles' defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Manchester, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season.

Coming up, Peebles will be playing in front of their home fans against Portsmouth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Peebles is facing Portsmouth at the right time seeing as Portsmouth is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Manchester, they will face off against Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
