Yelm stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 28-5 margin over the Shelton Highclimbers. Winning may never get old, but Yelm sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Madisyn Erickson and Riley Smith made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Erickson struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Smith tossed two innings while giving up no earned run off two hits. At bat, Erickson scored two runs while getting on base in four of her six plate appearances, while Smith scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.

In other batting news, Elissa Dewees was a standout: she went 4-for-6 with four runs, four RBI, and a triple. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played.
