Volleyball Recap: Strasburg Comes Up Short

Strasburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They came up short against the Resurrection Christian Cougars, falling 3-0. The Indians were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 25-12.

Laci Zimmerman paced Strasburg's offense, picking up five kills. Zimmerman got some help from Camryn Forbis and her eight assists.

Amanda Pardue was the offensive standout of the contest as she had six digs and five aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last eight matchups. Corinne Soukup also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Strasburg's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Resurrection Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.

Strasburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Frontier Academy on the 16th. As for Resurrection Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Fort Collins on the 15th.
