Recap: Trinity Christian Homeschool vs. Victory Christian Academy Eagles
This season hasn't been kind to Trinity Christian Homeschool, who are still winless after their seventh game. They were the victim of a tough 64-43 defeat at the hands of Victory Christian Academy on Friday. If Trinity Christian Homeschool hoped to take revenge for the 70-46 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Victory Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Chase Myrick, who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds. Myrick has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times he's played. Colton Sealy was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with four steals.
Trinity Christian Homeschool dropped their record down to 0-7 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Victory Christian Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian Homeschool will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on East Central HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. As for Victory Christian Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Varsity Opponent at 2:30 p.m. on January 27th. Varsity Opponent has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 26.
