Leilani Davila made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Davila was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her six plate appearances with five stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Yareilis Santiago-Campos, who got on base in four of her six plate appearances with six stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jaycie Clark, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and six RBI.

Maritime Academy Charter lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Samuel Fels entered their tilt with South Philadelphia on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 18-17 W against the Rams.

Samuel Fels' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Maritime Academy Charter, their win bumped their record up to 5-6-1.
