Football Recap: Gianna Martin and Chase Harris Secure Win for Arlington

The Arlington Admirals were able to grind out a solid win over the Wappinger Warriors on Wednesday, taking the game 20-12.

Arlington was led to victory by Chase Harris and Gianna Martin. Harris rushed for 95 yards on only ten carries, while Martin rushed for 75 yards and one TD on only eight carries. That's the most rushing yards Harris has posted since back in March. Jasmine Triunfo got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Arlington didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Triunfo and Scarlett Cavallo. Triunfo got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Arlington's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Wappinger, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Arlington will face off against Carmel at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wappinger will be paying especially close attention to the Admirals' matchup: after the Admirals face off against Ossining, they'll take on Wappinger again at 7:00 p.m. on May 2.
