Lawrence extended the longest winning streak in West Jersey - Patriot this week by beating Northern Burlington, 33-6. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Cardinals.
Pemberton led the league in scoring this week after putting up 33 points on Robbinsville. Dennis Clark threw for 162 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win.
The Hornets' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Quincey Lambert chipped in 154 yards. Antoine Wilson helped Pemberton's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 57 yards.
He went 10-16 with 0 interceptions.
Lambert provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Pemberton topped the Ravens. Lambert's favorite target this week was Cordele Taylor, who caught 3 passes for 63 yards.
Taylor was the best wideout in the league this week as John Rosnick's team defeated Robbinsville. Taylor racked up 3 receptions for 63 yards. Wilson helped Pemberton's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 57 yards.
Pemberton's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Clark has thrown for 965 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Jahmir Foman has 14 catches for 254 yards.
Two of the top units in West Jersey - Patriot will face off this week when Burlington Township takes on the Greyhounds. The Falcons' offense has scored 170 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Northern Burlington has allowed only 92 on the year.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Jonathan Reising's team takes on Burlington Township. The Greyhounds are currently in second, while Tom Maderia's team is in third.
Lawrence made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,159 from 2,999. The improvement was the result of a 33-6 victory over Northern Burlington last week.
