Soccer Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison managed to keep up with Lakeview until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Dragons came up short against the Vikings, falling 4-1. Madison just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Wilson Zumba, who's now up to three this season.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Lakeview, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison will host Holdrege at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeview, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on The Platte at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
