Basketball Recap: Judah Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Judah Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 69-53 bruising from the UR Academy Lions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Judah Christian Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-60 two weeks ago.

UR Academy was led to victory by Jordan Miller and Gabriel Thompson. Miller dropped a double-double on 30 points and 16 rebounds, while Thompson went 14 of 22 en route to 31 points and five assists. Miller's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Brysen Parker was another key player, putting up six points and five boards.

Judah Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for UR Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-8.

Judah Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for UR Academy, they will challenge Heritage Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Heritage Christian: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while UR Academy has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
