Volleyball Recap: Hulbert's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Hulbert came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Locust Grove Pirates, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Riders in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost seven in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hulbert fell to 4-1. As for Locust Grove, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hulbert will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Canadian at 6:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Locust Grove, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Stilwell at 7:00 p.m.
